Atleast that’s
what this new Huawei released trailer says/will have us believe.
Per the
trailer that could double as the next Terminator or Transformers movie teaser,
Huawei says we’d be doing the Mate 10 a great disservice by considering it a
smartphone.
If you lack
the patience to watch the teaser, what it basically says is,
The Mate 10 sees,
thinks, and learns like us and for us.
With AI
built in, it is alive to what’s now, alive to what’s next.
Alive with the
potential to unlock your (our) potential.
This is not
a smartphone…. this is an intelligent
machine.
So…. *drums
fingers on desk repetitively*….is it safe to assume Huawei may have just built
Skynet? And a couple years from now there’s going to be a hostile takeover by
Huawei branded Terminators? I’m asking for a friend.
Jokes aside though, the Mate 10 is going to feature a
bezel-less 6-inch, 18:9 aspect ratio display, 2,160 x 1,080 resolutions and a
dual-lens front-facing camera with 3D face scanning skills powered by the
company's Kirin 970 chipset which features a dedicated neural processing unit
for on-device AI capabilities.
The Mate 10 will be announced on October 16th…so
save the date.
