Stranger Things season 2 trailer has me pumped for another journey to the upside down

Living in a tech and CGI obsessed era, I bet even the Duffer brothers had no idea they’d be striking gold when they decided to go back in time and venture due south to the ‘upside down’ with Stranger Things.

A show that immediately became a cult classic by appealing to old timers like me and making the new skool green with envy for missing out on all the horror classics Stranger Things makes us nostalgic for. Granted those classics are available online or being streamed on one network or another but to really appreciate them, one would have to see them through 90’s eyes. So, Stranger Things was so much of a hit, it did not only put Winona Ryder (another 90’s classic) back on the map, it has spurned a second season I absolutely cannot wait to see.

A brief season 2 synopsis go; A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.

The season 2 trailer has been out near a month now (I have no idea how I missed it) and the show comes out on Netflix  on the 27th of October.

PS. Am I the only one that notices how spot on the theme songs that go along with these Netflix trailers are? Michael Jacksons Thriller on this trailer is so apt, it literally is slapping a classic on another classic.
