HTC looking to join the no-bezel train with the HTC U11 Plus this November

Regardless of the recent deal between HTC and Google, HTC seems to be very much in the smartphone making business, what with rumored 3 phones said to be in the works and to be released before year’s end.
That aside, per rumors emanating from France, first in line of said 3 being the HTC U11 Plus slated for a November release, and the best part is, it is getting with the current smartphone trend and going bezel free.  About damn time HTC!!
Allegedly being developed under code name the Ocean Master, should the rumors turn out to be true, will be the first HTC handset to adopt the 18:9 aspect ratio display with little or no bezels.
The HTC U11 Plus (Ocean Master has a nicer ring to it) will have a 5.99-inch panel with 1,440x2, 880 resolution. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 and have 2 variants. A 4GB RAM/64GB expandable storage or 6GB RAM/128GB storage.

As far as cameras go, it will feature the same as the HTC U11 i.e. a 12 MP main back camera and an 8 MP on the front for the selfie enthusiasts. The U11 Plus will have IP68 certified water and dust resistance, support for Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 (up to 18W). Sadly, like the U11, there is no mention of wireless charging capabilities or a 3.5mm port (guess the powers that be over at HTC have their minds made up as far as that port goes). It does have that famous squeezable frame that enables the Edge Sense feature though.
The U11 Plus Ocean Master is slated for a November 11 release in China.
