A leak of BlackBerry’s
upcoming project codenamed the BlackBerry Krypton has been released, and same leak
confirms it will be called the BlackBerry Motion.
Though contrary to this name, the BB Motion possesses zero moving parts so I’m guessing the name is inspired by either some software based innovation or someone over at BlackBerry mad-labs just said said “eff these effing effers, our research is always in motion so why not name it the Motion, give the damn nay sayers throughout the galaxy something to talk about”.

Thanks to
the leak, we get something of a clearer picture of what the BB Motion will look
like and seeing this, I’m thinking the powers that be over at BlackBerry HQ are
still euphoric over the Keyone win they did not get the current market trend bezel-less
memo.
— Evan Blass (@evleaks) October 5, 2017Again, Contrary to the name, the Motion offers no moving parts/slider or QWERTY keyboard à la Keyone. If anything, it appears to be a full 1080p touch screened version of it.
Rumored specs
include a less-than-stellar Snapdragon 626 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 4,000mAh
battery, fingerprint sensor embedded in the blackberry logo on the bottom
front, IP 67 or 68 certified and will be powered by Android (would it be too
much to ask for Oreo?). Also, due to the industry standard deviating away from
it, would the 3.5mm port which the Motion retains count as an added spec?
The
BlackBerry Motion will be officially announced in the coming weeks.
