Forget the big names, the most used Android device in Naija is the Infinix Hot 4

 

Believe it or not, the most used Android device in the country as of today is the Infinix Hot 4. Seems like a lot to take in but it is fact.

And what is worse, among the top 10 most used devices, there is no Samsung, LG, HTC, Huawei or Sony produced phone. How is that possible you ask, considering how you spotted about 5 Galaxy S8’s and 10 Galaxy S7 edges in the wild last week huh? Well, let me enlighten you small.

Apps are majorly developed with a software development kit (SDK or devkit), which is typically a set of software development tools that allows the creation of applications for a certain software package, software framework, hardware platform, computer system, video game console, operating system, or similar development platform e.g. AppBrain, Androlib and Aptoid to name but a few. Then again, these findings do no t seem so far fetched seeing as most of the Android phones featured on this list are pocket/budget friendly. To clarify, by pocket friendly I mean they do not leave a big dent in your bank account..before someone out there mistakes pocket friendly to mean fitting snugly in the pocket.
