The game of the bezel-less smartphone throne is about to see the return of a former big house

The game of the smartphones thrones for a while has just been between Apple and Samsung but LG came back strong with the V30 and last week HTC announced they’d be hitting us with a bezel free HTC U11+ before year end.
It was pretty safe to say save for Sony, all smartphone OEM’s “houses” were back in the game..well, that may change very soon.
Sony is well underway to joining the current smartphone trend with their next flagship. Sony knows the direction that the market is heading - 18:9 phones with bezel-less designs and may join this design trend with a new device “soon”.

According to a Sony exec, “you can expect a completely new design from the devices”.
This cannot come at a better time seeing as phones with little to no bezels have become all the rage for smartphone enthusiasts. What with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ , Note 8, LG V30 and soon to be released Apple iPhone X literally owning the smartphone spot light and one time major players like Sony are left to play catch up. Nice to hear the top will soon be crowded with the top 5 vying for that iron throne..naturally iron throne here is metaphor for our hearts…and money.
