The yet to be released iPhone X will not be out for another
month but anticipation for it is through the roof and the
internet is steady on a tear down path of everything that makes the X standout
(as if the AMOLED zero bezel display was not already enough).
Enter the battery
it packs. According to a new TENAA certification, the iPhone X will run on a slightly
higher battery than its other big screened sibling the iPhone 8 Plus.
The iPhone X is going to be powered by a 2716mAh battery as
opposed to the iPhone 8 Plus that is powered by a 2675mAh battery with both
devices running on 3GB RAM. Naturally, speculation is that thanks to the
compact form factor of the X, the bundled battery should be more than enough
but do not be surprised if the iPhone 8 Plus with its LCD screen performs
better on the battery compared to the X seeing as AMOLED screens are famous for
being battery drainers/power efficient.
The X should see a global launch starting 3rd
November.
What is it going to be for you? X, 8 or 8 Plus?
