Is it just me or is LG taking a not-so subtle jab at the Galaxy Note 8 with this V30 teaser

The Smartphone market is saturated with countless manufacturers/OEMs therefore; there is an endless struggle to attain top OEM status or to be considered amongst the top tier level of manufacturers. And as we all know,
no one makes it to top level without an occasional libel suit for copyright violations and if that does not work, do it like a regular gangster and take things to the streets like Dominic Toretto. Streets being metaphor for teasers…where they (OEMs) get plenty creative.

Now, I may be imagining things but the teaser below looks to me like LG aside from promoting their V line of smart phones and V30 may be making fun of the Samsung Galaxy Note line/upcoming Note 8 in the process. With this teaser, it appears LG agrees with the train of thought that there has been a dawn and death of the stylus/pen on Smart phones and there will never be a rise of it so stop trying to push it Samsung. Then again, I may just be plenty paranoid and reading meaning into an innocent teaser. LG may just simply hate blue 2h pencils.

The LG V30 will be unveiled this August on the 31^st.
