Game of Thrones ends with a 6 episode long 8th season but here is some good news for fans

Two things I am fairly certain every Game of thrones fan wants? To know how the show ends and conversely cannot imagine a life without the promise of at most 10 episodes of GOT per year.
So yeah, everyone wants to know how the show will end but no one is ready to deal with the reality that bar the last two episodes to go for season 7 of GOT, the show only has 6 episodes to go…in plain English, season 8 will only be 6 episodes long….has that sunk in? Cheer up though, Game of Thrones is literally a cash cow right now, as it is one of the most profitable shows on TV, hence, who in his right mind wouldn’t milk a cow for all its worth? So milking it HBO is because there are currently four possible Westeros based spin-off shows in development.

While it is unlikely all four will air, there is a lot of interest at the network in giving the fans something new when the series ends. No matter which spinoff series HBO chooses, it is still very early in the development process, and fans will have to wait, probably for a few years at best, meaning that it is far too soon to reveal what each series is meant to be about.

Can it be when we are old, grey and can hardly make it up the stairs?
Producer Jane Goldman is creating one of the spinoffs along with author George R.R. Martin. Goldman spoke to IGN about the series she is creating, making it clear that it will be familiar to Game of Thrones fans.
One of the few things known about the spinoff is that it is a prequel and has no existing characters. Goldman explained that even though that is true, it is a story that fans will be at least somewhat familiar with before the series even begins.

Goldman did promise that there would be supernatural elements in her spinoff, since they are key to the world that Martin created.
While there is a bit of a wait before finding out just what this spinoff is about – as well as the others – Goldman has already begun to work with Martin.

The 6th episode Season 7 of Game of Thrones airs tomorrow the 20th of august and the season wraps up on the 27th
