Our first look at Josh Brolin as Cable in Deadpool 2 has arrived. Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) revealed the image on Twitter earlier today and although I was a little skeptic of Josh Brolin being cast as the mutant Cable (my money was on Stephen Lang), but seeing these images, I cant imagine I ever doubted.

For the uninitiated, Cable is Nathan Summers, the biological son of the
Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey's clone), the
"half" brother of Rachel Summers and Nate Grey, and the genetic
template of Stryfe. He is from a possible future timeline, having been
transported as an infant to the future, where he grew into a warrior, before
returning to the present. His principal mutant powers are his
vast telepathic and telekinetic abilities. It is still unclear how much his
cinematic origin and abilities will adapt from the comic book source.

Deadpool 2 which stars Ryan Reynolds, TJ Miller, Brianna Hildebrand,
Morena Baccarin, Zazie Beetz, and Josh Brolin, hits theaters on June 1st, 2018.
